Detailed services and deliverables
Cloud accounting workflows, access, and reporting in detail
Cloud bookkeeping connects people, records, approvals, and reporting through an agreed online working arrangement. The service supports organizations from small businesses to enterprises while keeping platform choice, account ownership, data access, and review responsibilities explicit.
Current-workflow assessment
Map where receipts, invoices, statements, time records, and transaction questions arrive today. Identify which records are authoritative, which tasks overlap, and who approves changes. An online workflow should solve a practical handover problem rather than simply add another application.
Digital document organization
Agree naming, reporting periods, document categories, and a suitable sharing method for the engagement. Organize missing-document requests and keep a clear connection between the supporting record and the bookkeeping question. Retention, exports, and backup responsibilities are confirmed separately.
User access and review ownership
Identify the account owner, required user roles, reviewer, and approval process before access is granted. Use a suitable account invitation or other approved method rather than sending passwords in an enquiry. Access changes and removal at handover remain part of the agreed responsibility map.
Online bookkeeping and reconciliations
Carry out the agreed categorization, record review, and reconciliation tasks within the supported application. Imported records and bank-feed suggestions are reviewed rather than treated as automatically correct. Track duplicate, incomplete, or unmatched entries in an outstanding-items list.
Timesheets and connected record handovers
Organize approved time or payroll-related records that feed invoicing and bookkeeping. Confirm fields, cutoffs, reviewers, and any permitted export or integration. A cloud account does not automatically include payroll processing, a time-tracking license, or a working connection to every other system.
Recurring reporting and transition planning
Set the reporting period, recipients, review meeting or handover, and process for unresolved questions. For a proposed software change, review the source data, mapping, opening balances, and validation approach before migration is included. Completed work should be understandable to the next person responsible for the books.
Cloud platform and service-boundary questions
Can you work with QuickBooks, Sage, or Quicken records?
Yes, we can review the bookkeeping workflow for those products and confirm the appropriate method for your edition. An online product, a desktop installation, and a separately hosted desktop system are not the same arrangement. Hosting or a software license is not supplied automatically.
Can cloud bookkeeping connect with tax-return preparation?
Yes. We can coordinate a bookkeeping handover with our separately scoped tax-return preparation and filing service. Agree the return type, year, jurisdictions, authorized preparer, approved software, and document-sharing method first. See Bookkeeping & Accounting for the tax and software scope.
Do you supply general cloud hosting or manage AWS and Azure?
No. This page covers accounting and bookkeeping workflows, not general IT infrastructure management. Application hosting, server administration, security monitoring, software subscriptions, and backup services require a separate confirmed arrangement.
