Detailed services and deliverables
Website design tasks, from page planning to handover
A useful business website explains the offer, helps visitors find the right information, and makes enquiries straightforward. We define the page list and functionality first, then connect content, visual design, implementation, and review around the actions you want visitors to take.
Page structure and visitor journeys
Plan the navigation, service hierarchy, and purpose of each page. Map the route from a homepage or landing page to the relevant service and contact option. New pages should answer a real customer need and fit the site's overall structure.
Responsive layouts and visual consistency
Develop layouts that adapt to agreed desktop, tablet, and phone sizes. Establish a consistent use of headings, colors, spacing, buttons, and imagery. Review readable text, clear links, keyboard focus, and form labels as part of the agreed usability checks.
Service pages and enquiry forms
Build clear service sections, calls to action, and forms with the fields needed for the enquiry. Agree the recipient, confirmation message, validation, consent wording, and any CRM connection. Booking tools, payment features, and specialist integrations require their own scope.
Content and image implementation
Place approved copy and images into the page structure, use descriptive image alternatives, and organize headings logically. Confirm who supplies original assets and who approves business claims. Copywriting, photography, and new graphic production are listed separately where required.
Technical launch checks
Review the agreed internal links, page titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, sitemap setup, and public indexing settings. Check the key contact path and optimize the supplied assets in proportion to the project. Rankings, universal accessibility compliance, and a perfect performance score are not implied.
Editing and maintenance handover
Explain how the agreed pages and forms are maintained, identify account ownership, and record any paid tools or renewal dependencies. Ongoing updates, backups, hosting administration, and security monitoring are separate services unless included in the maintenance agreement.
Website delivery questions
Can the website connect to a contact form, CRM, or appointment tool?
Yes, those connections can be reviewed and included in the project. We confirm the tool, account owner, permissions, data fields, and any license or subscription cost before promising an integration.
Does the project include ongoing maintenance?
Only when it is in the agreed scope. The handover should distinguish the initial website build from later content changes, software updates, backups, hosting, and monitoring responsibilities.
