QuickBooks Online error 350: coordinate the reconnection owner
Identify the affected bank connection and the person responsible before reconnecting after error 350.

Applies to: QuickBooks Online, U.S. web edition; Intuit guidance checked October 12, 2026. Bank authorization requirements and interfaces vary.
Repeatedly reconnecting the same bank from different company files can turn a connection problem into a recurring handover problem. Start by identifying who manages the connection and which companies depend on it.
Intuit’s current error 350 guidance says the secure bank connection has expired or no longer works. It also describes cases where a shared bank sign-in permits one active connection and a new reconnection disrupts another company. Intuit recommends one person coordinate connection setup and maintenance.
Prepare the handover
- Record the affected company, bank connection label and exact error.
- Note the last successful download and any recent reconnection by another user.
- Identify the authorized person who can complete the bank’s sign-in and approval.
- List other company files using the same connection, without sharing passwords in the log.
In the affected account’s Bank transactions area, follow the native Fix now flow and the bank’s authorization instructions. Review the account-sharing scope described by Intuit and your bank before authorizing. Never send bank credentials to a support inbox or put them in the bookkeeping worksheet.
Verify more than the success message
Suppose two hypothetical company files depend on a bank connection managed by different staff. One reconnects successfully, but the other stops updating. Document that sequence and coordinate with the connection owner instead of repeating a cycle of independent reconnections. If the arrangement remains unclear, use official Intuit support.
After a successful connection, inspect the downloaded date range and existing records before posting. Reconnection success does not prove that every transaction is present or that no duplicate was downloaded.

Should every staff member reconnect?
No. Coordinate through the designated authorized owner.
Should I delete an account to start again?

QuickBooks FAQs
Can I use a Desktop error guide for QuickBooks Online?
Only when the guide explicitly covers that product. First identify whether you use Desktop or Online and record the exact message.
Does a connection error prove a company file is damaged?
An error message alone is not enough to establish file damage. Identify the affected task and follow the relevant vendor diagnostic guidance.
Who should change a shared hosting setup?
The person responsible for the server or hosting provider should review changes affecting other users. Record the current setup before making approved changes.
